Vaping and Cannabis Education for 10th -12th grade on 02/09/26
The Humboldt County Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) Public Health Substance Use Prevention Program (SUP) will lead a one-hour session on the effects of vaping cannabis and/or nicotine on the brain and body, utilizing Stanford Medicine’s Smart Talk and Safety First curriculum. This presentation is centered on sharing information and strategies to prevent or reduce young people choosing to use vapes and e-cigarettes. Please click above for full letter.

Attention Senior Families!
A Cash For College workshop will be taking place on Wed, Jan. 28th 10 am - 2 pm at South Fork High School. Seniors and families can get expert support completing their financial aid application for college or career school. Submit a FAFSA or CADAA by March 2nd and meet with a Cal-SOAP Success Coach at least twice for a chance to win a $1,000 Cal-SOAP Success Scholarship. Semester 1 Finals/ Minimum Days
